Thank You

My wonderful wife has reminded me of something where I usually fail. THANK YOU!

As we reach the half-way point of the season, I want to take a moment to say thanks.

First, Thank you to the Lord for all of the many talents the Bolivar Softball Club is so fortunate to enjoy and for the safety and protection He has provided. The Lord has blessed each and every one of us. It is AWESOME to serve such a mighty and loving Savior.

Secondly, Thank you to my best friend and soulmate for being such an integral part of the coaching and administration of the Club.

Next, Thank you to the coaches for their endless, tireless, and many times thankless work. You are all doing a good job, and the fruits of your work will be seen in the form of strikes, hits, outs, wins, and more importantly, successful young ladies in life.

Thank you to the fundraising committee for the behind the scenes work and the many ideas for keeping costs down and raising money. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the Relay for Life and to Greg Jaeger for his hard work putting everything together for the first time. Thanks to each and every member of the Fundraising Committee for orchestrating all of the events this season.

Thank you to the players for your dedication to becoming the best softball player you can become. We have a GREAT group of girls and I am proud to be a part of your lives. If the first half of the season is not what you have wanted it to be, make a decision right now to turn it around, have fun, and do your best at every practice and game. Hard work and dedication will pay off.

Thank you to the parents for the late nights, sweating while you just sit and watch, and for your commitment of helping your daughter participate. Poor coaching decisions, bad calls, and your daughter not performing to your expectations are all part of the experience, just like good coaching decisions, fortunate calls, rain outs, and your daughter being the star of the game.

Thank you to each and every participant in the Bolivar Softball Club. I believe that we are making good progress. Best wishes for the remainder of the season. See you at the ball park.
