Storm/Revolution update
Thursday June 18 @ Ash Grove makeup from June 10.
Continuation of the Aurora game: L, 6-4
Bottom of 3rd trailing 5-2 with a runner on 2nd and 2 outs, Aurora scored to make the score 6-2. As time was running out we loaded the bases in the top of 4. We loaded the bases and with 2 outs, Jaelyn Halbrook got a hit that scored 2.
Hits: Brittany Milligan, Jaelyn Halbrook
Game 2 v. Buffalo, W, 6-0, Brittany Wood WP
Hits: Summer Rash
We did a good job of putting pressure on Aurora to give ourselves a chance to win. Against Buffalo, we had some good at bats and drew 7 walks or hit by pitch. We capitalized on mistakes and pushed across enough runs to get the win. Brittany did a good job of throwing strikes and our defense played well behind her. We are making progress. Coach Jay

Liberty update
Thursday June 18 @ Meador Park
Game 1 v. Lady Rebels W, 10-7 Abby Toler, WP
Hits: Delpha Miller double;
We took what they gave us; The Lady Rebels issued 12 walks; We did a great job of being disciplined at the plate and trusting in each other to get the hit.

Hits: Delpha Miller 3 hits (GS & Double); Haley Rauch 2 hits (Double); Taylor Sechler Double; Abby Toler; Brittany Briggs 2 hits; Haleigh Wallace hit; Lauren Vess 2 doubles; Tauri Hale 2 hits
The girls came out swinging, Delpha Miller had a great night. 8 RBI on the night with the big swing being the Grand Slam. I am proud of the way we hit the ball tonight. Up and down the lineup we had hits. We had 5 doubles which is an indication that we are running the bases hard too. We are playing good softball right now.

Patriots vs. the Ozark Hornets...Lost 7 - 0 ....AnnaMarie McGlone struck out 5 in a losing effort to Ozark....Our girls played better than what the score reflects....we had a couple of bad breaks come our way and struggled getting the bats going....(Coach Nathan Rothdiener)
Patriots vs. Wickman's...Won 17 - 1...Sydney Julien struck out 8 batters in the winning effort. Mackenzie Hartley led the team with a couple of hits including a triple....
We are making improvements. We need to get our bats going and play with confidence.
