Liberty
Thursday June 25 @ Meador Park

Game 1 v. Springfield Shox L 6-4;
Hits: Haley Rauch (2); Taylor Sechler double; Brook Townsend (2); Breanna Barber;
We didn’t show the discipline at the plate that we needed early in the game. We had some hits and baserunners, we just could not capitalize when we had to have it. We played well defensively and pitched well. (Jamie Halbrook)

Game 2 v. Ozark Crush L 4-1;
Hits: Delpha Miller; Haley Rauch; Taylor Sechler;
We continued good pitching and defense, the Crush just did a better job tonight. We struggled getting through the lineup the first time. I think had we been able to get through earlier we would have had a different outcome. (Jamie Halbrook)

This was a good tournament for our girls. They did a wonderful job. They fought hard to win some games in some incredible heat. We faced some tough competition and learned a great deal about ourselves as players and as a team. We got our bats going and got some big hits and that carried over to make some big plays in the field. I'm so proud of the way they played and how they looked to get better every inning. (Nathan Rothdiener)
