Game 1, 12 Blue vs Ozark Express

Leading Hitters: Sammy Jacobson 2-2, HR;
Winning Pitching: Abby Toler, 4 IP, 5K
We were down 5-0 in the 3rd when Sammy led off with a HR to make it 5-1; That got us going. Jaelyn Halbrook and Brook Townsend both singled and scored in the inning to make it 5-3. We held in the top of the 4th as time expired. Toler, Anna Pitts, and Jacobson each had hits in the last inning and we tied the score on a bases loaded walk by Randi Hancock, and won the game on a bases loaded walk by Alyssa Kelley. We did not play very well for more than 2 innings, but we found a way to come back as time expired and got the win. – Jamie Halbrook

We came out and played well from the first pitch. I am proud of our girls. They are learning the game and playing hard. Jamie Halbrook
