This was the same, very solid Republic team we faced recently at a tournament, where we beat them in a tie breaker. However, they got the best of us this time. Brittany pitched extremely well again, but we just couldn't hit the gaps in their defense. Offensively, we put 18 balls in play, but only 2 of those resulted in hits, both singles. - Kyle Hedges

We did a good job of putting the ball in play in this game as well, 19 times to be exact. The girls kept their spirits up, even after losing to Republic, and came out to pick up a nice win. - Kyle Hedges

Every girl had at least 3 hits on the night. We continue to hit the ball very well and play outstanding defense. We have won 10 straight. The girls believe they should win every time they play.
