Coach Mark Munger: " The girls played well and battled hard all day.  Unfortunately, we came up a little short in the last game.  I am proud of the way we took care of business today."

Coach Halbrook: "We really enjoyed getting into a tournament with these girls. It will really pay off for them down the road. This type of experience is invaluable. 

The JV lost to Ozark 7-0 on Thursday before the tourney, and continued the winning ways Monday night in Strafford, winning 4-0

It was nice to get a win. We are showing signs of life at the plate and starting to hit some balls hard. This group will get better at the plate as we go. There is a lot of talent in the lineup.

Strafford is a young team. We were more focused today. It was nice to see us start playing closer to our ability. Hopefully we learn consistency and repeat it 2 more times this week.
